Mastering the use of light in video production is essential for creating the desired atmosphere and conveying the intended message to the audience. Whether it’s setting the mood with soft, diffused lighting for a romantic scene or using harsh, directional light to create tension in a dramatic moment, understanding how light behaves and how to manipulate it effectively is key. Through this lighting exercise project, I aim to experiment with various lighting techniques such as key lighting, fill lighting, and backlighting to enhance the visual storytelling aspect of my videos. By honing my skills in lighting, I hope to elevate the quality of my productions and bring my creative vision to life on screen.
